The Light Behind The Darkness

Behind every darkness, there is a light. But most people in our society don't want to bring that light to ignore the darkness. Almost 95% of the people are narrow minded. They are not even making an attempt to see what the darkness is and what the root cause of that is. Many people say that “if there is light, then there is darkness. Its fate…”.  But I believe that this is an utter nonsense. All human beings have the ability to lighten up this world. If each and every one of tries to understand this, then the darkness can be ameliorated. All human beings are responsible for the darkness. Don't you ever think about those who are living in the darkness and whose dreams have fed up in that deep hollow? All of us have to think about this. Otherwise we will be the losers in the life from the perspective of the society, from the perspective of the world and even from the perspective of this sacred nature. Those people in such a dark world will be mentally weakened. So, offering a mental support and a helping hand to get them up from that pit will be the greatest contribution to the world. Eventually, it will be the greatest contribution to ourselves-our life.
        Most people seem to be sympathetic towards such people. In my opinion, the root cause of this sympathetic approach is the narrow minds of the people. We should broaden our mind. We should learn to see the life from the viewpoint of those in the darkness. Many of us forget the fact that no one wants to be in darkness. Every one wants to achieve a good life which is fully lightened up with a human being’s genuine happiness, anger, fear, sorrow and finally the knowledge- the greatest asset in life. We the people can bring the light by sharing the knowledge we gained and make them feel that they are neede by this world and they are the one who have to build a bright future world without even a spot of darkness. Such a motivation will bring them up.
        They may be suffering hardly from poverty, illiteracy and they may be under privileged. These can be reduced to some extend by the spread of knowledge and by means of charitable contributions. Knowledge helps to bring out the best in human mind and spirit. By helping them in nourishing their inward capabilities, many of the problems can be eradicated. Rather than donations made to the poor ones, the education is the most powerful tool to help the underprivileged. Education doesn't mean the mere formal education. They may have thousands of other skills. The discovery of that will lighten their life. It means, teach them everything we can that might help them make a life for themselves.
           Thus, we have to spread the light without following anybody, without any national or religious or political discrimination. This in turn would be a light onto ourselves. Thus, lighten up other's life and beautify everyones life.

An Era of Reading Books

The shelves once filled with books are now empty. The parents or grandparents showing books with colorful pictures and telling them stories was a common scene during our childhood. Children were interested in reading rather than playing video games. The parents (especially father) were used to take us to public libraries when they have free time. I still remember that my father used to take me to the library near by on every Saturday. Reading books by sitting on the bench in front of the library was such a nice experience. According to Marcus Tullius Cicero, a room without books is like a body without a soul. The smell of old paper has not yet gone from my mind.  By reading books, we will be imagining all parts of the story, poem or whatever it is.
