An Ideal GURU

This is something I want to write from the bottom of my heart. While reading this article, one may not feel that this is something special. This is because words are not enough for me to disclose the murmuring sound of water over the pebbles in my mind.  There was a character called "Ekalavya" in the epic Mahabharata. Ekalavya aspired to study archery under the guidance of Guru Dronacharya (Drona), the greatest known teacher in the use of weaponry and martial art. Deeply hurt by Drona's rejection, Ekalavya carved Drona's statue on a tree trunk in a forest. He accepted the statue as his guru and practiced in front of it daily. Time went by.  One day the princes and the guru came to that forest . As Arjuna aimed at a particular difficult target, an arrow pierced the target. Shocked, the boys and their teacher looked around. A century of Silence...

While looking through my college life photos, I realize how important college memories are to me. For a third person, those photos may be a simple snapshot of an instant. But for me those days were really awesome. Always hanging out with my friends... bunking class...rushing towards the project instructor to extend the date of report submission..."Friday special" discussions... going for a coffee break during class hour.. . cool strikes... treats and chat sessions in canteen... celebrations...I really miss those days. I still remember my first day in college. The whole year was felt to me as an era of "ragging". It was in fact a wonderful experience for me to get ragged by the seniors and super seniors. It was them who later become my close buddies. Though I approached them with timorous voice, I really loved them all. My best moments during the first year was with them rather than with my classmates.  Then the Third semester... It was somewhat boring to me. Man...
